Knowing that a page changed has never been the hard part. Any monitoring tool can tell you the HTML is not what it was on the last check. The hard part is everything that arrives with it: the rotating banner that fires an alert at 03:00, the layout shift that reads like a policy change, and the forty notifications sitting in one person’s inbox where nobody else on the team can see them, let alone act on them.
Today we are launching the next generation of ChangeTower, rebuilt from the ground up for business teams. You describe the changes you care about in plain language, ChangeTower’s AI alerts you only when those conditions are met, and a shared workspace routes each change to the person who acts on it and keeps a record of how it was handled.
“Spotting that a page changed was never the challenge. The challenge was all of the noise that came with it,” said Ari Driessen, co-founder of ChangeTower. “Now ChangeTower’s AI cuts through that noise, so teams are alerted only to the material changes they care about, whether they monitor entire pages for compliance or target specific areas for SEO or competitive intelligence.”
Describe what to watch, in plain language
Setting up a monitor no longer means picking a CSS selector and hoping the page never gets redesigned. With AI monitoring, you write what matters in a sentence. Tell us to alert you when the effective date on a policy page moves, when a competitor adds a pricing tier, or when a disclosure is removed, and the alert fires only when that condition is actually met. No selectors, no code, and no alert because a testimonial carousel rotated.
Work a change as a team, not as an inbox
The new platform is built around workspaces. Pages are organized into folders, and folders decide who gets alerted and where. Custom roles and permissions mean a reviewer sees the notifications that belong to them and nothing else, and custom review states let a change move from new, to under review, to resolved, with a full audit trail of who did what and when.
Alerts go to email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, webhooks or the MCP, routed by folder rather than set one monitor at a time.
Every check is archived, changed or not
On every check, ChangeTower saves a timestamped snapshot of the page, the rendered view and its HTML, whether anything changed or not. What that builds over time is a dated record of every version of every page you watch, which is the thing an auditor, a regulator or opposing counsel asks for. Retention is set per account, configured to the period you actually need to keep.
Point it at a domain, not a URL
Finding the pages worth watching is usually the slowest part of getting started. Domain-wide monitoring takes a domain, finds every page it can reach, and watches them on the schedule you set. That is thousands of pages at a time, which is what it takes to cover a regulator’s site, a dealer network or a client’s full estate without someone pasting URLs for a week.
ChangeTower inside the assistant you already use
ChangeTower now ships an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. You can ask your assistant what changed across a client’s pages this week, or have it set up monitors while you are working through a list, without opening the app. For internal systems, webhooks and the API carry the same changes into your ticketing, GRC or BI tooling.
Reports for the people who will never log in
Most of the people who need to know what changed are not going to review a notification feed. AI summary reports run on a schedule and summarize the key changes across your monitored pages, so a compliance lead, an account director or a client gets the short version on Monday morning without anyone assembling it by hand.
What it took to get here
“The original ChangeTower compared pages. The new platform reads them,” said Sanil Musić, co-founder and CTO of ChangeTower. “Layout shifts and rotating banners no longer trigger false alerts, every check is automatically archived, and support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) connects ChangeTower directly to the AI assistants our customers rely on daily.”
That distinction is the whole rebuild in one line. Reading a page, rather than measuring how different it looks from the last capture, is what makes it possible to say “only tell me if the refund window changes” and have that mean something.
